What is a Reading Room?

A Christian Science Reading Room is a public space open to the community.  Part book store, part lending library, it offers a place to study, borrow, and purchase the Bible and all the books by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

Study - The Reading Room provides a place for quiet contemplation and a range of reference guides and study tools to deepen your understanding of the Bible and Christian Science.

Shop - We sell the Bible and writings of Mary Baker Eddy, including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in English, Portuguese and other languages.  We also offer Bible study aids, Christian Science magazines on spiritual healing, inspirational music, children's books, and the Christian Science Monitor.  A number of these products are available in our lending library.

Be Inspired - visitors can access bound volumes and online tools to read or listen to over 125 years of inspirational articles and thousands of first-hand accounts of healing through prayer.
